MacRostie Winery & Vineyards Chardonnay 2008, Sonoma Coast

Steve MacRostie describes it as “soft, luscious and full of rich, ripe flavors.”   Our Saturday tasters noted its elegance and their surprise at a Chardonnay’s they really like!  Wine Spectator marks it 92 points and “Top Value!” I can only add: “pleasurable complexity on its own, flavor concentration to match seared tuna steaks and a long, flinty finish to liven the conversation.”
