Dupont Pommeau de Normandie

Pommeau has long been the best kept secret of Normandy.

 

 It is unfermented apple juice, fortified with Calvados (apple brandy) and aged in a barrel.  It is a simple concept but the result is amazing.  Intense and complex aromas of apple, pear and vanilla.  In your mouth it tastes like apple pie, complete with apples, raisin, nuts, cinnamon and other brown spice.
