Southern Gothic Wines, Poor Thing Grenache 2008

The Southern Gothic series was created as a small production bottling by The Grateful Palate.  Each wine has a theme and is packaged in 3 different labels created by artist James Jean.

 

"The 2008 Poor Thing Grenache spent 16 months in neutral French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it sports an already complex nose of damp earth, underbrush, garrigue, raspberry and kirsch.
