Deep garnet color. Very ripe dark fruit aromas: black currants, red plums. Layered texture and ripe tannins, round on the palate, followed by a long, satisfying finish. This Santenay is definitely a food wine, with its accessible style and firm yet rich structure. Aging potential 8 to 10 years. Superb value in a Premier Cru Burgundy.
