The vineyards, planted by Walt & Joan Flowers in 1989, are located on soaring coastal ridges that border the Pacific Ocean at 1200 to 1800 feet elevation.  After 100% native yeast fermentation, the wine is aged 11 months in French oak. The palate is heightened by a compelling, site-specific coastal minerality, textural salinity, and precise acidity that carry brilliantly through the finish.

This Chardonnay is a wine of distinction, with bright aromas of Meyer lemon peel and orange blossom framed by an herbal noteof spearmint and hints of wet stone and shortbread. The elegant, balanced palate is driven by citrus and stone fruit that carryover onto a long finish marked with the distinctive acidity of the Sonoma Coast.
